Prepare your tastebuds: Sea Salt is on the way!

Did you know that the human body cannot survive without sodium? Trust me, in just a few days you’ll wonder how you ever got by without Sea Salt.  Located in downtown Nashville in historic Printer's Alley, Sea Salt is just a week away from opening its doors to the public. Executive chef Mike Haggerty is ready to charm the community with his French influenced American fare. Whether you are in the mood for crab stuffed trout, creole pasta or even a cheeseburger and fries, you are sure to find something to please your palate.  Seriously, how delicious does this burger look?? Killer!!

While this dish might fall under the radar, I am most excited to try the Sea Salt Grilled Cheese. Using a combination of aged white cheddar, Swiss and jack cheeses, the chef has added tomato, arugula pesto, mushroom and spinach to make this quite possibly the tastiest grilled cheese in town.  I'm sure to end up in a food coma!

The food is not the only reason to visit Sea Salt.  Let's talk about this interior. Exquisite. "Inside the restaurant, find reclaimed wood tables complemented by gorgeous blocks of pink sea salt, which gives the space an aesthetic quality matched only by richly satisfying dishes."

"Sea Salt’s fine-dining fare falls in a casual dining price range, making it the perfect Champagne taste for foodies on a beer budget."  In case I haven't given you enough reason to visit, let's talk about the bar program.  Curated by James Beard Nominee Jeret Pena, Sea Salt will feature regional craft beers, a hand selected wine list and specialty cocktails formulated to compliment the menu and highlight the best of what Tennessee has to offer.

Sea Salt opens its doors on Monday, April 24th with a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon followed by a few appetizers and tour of the restaurant.  Make your reservations here  before it's too late!
