Given the fact that I have bought a case of the Espiral Vinho Verde since I first sampled it (last seen here), I had felt obligated to try its prettier pink sister, Espiral Vinho Rosé. If you have been following my TJ Tuesday stories for any length of time, you know I am kind of a snob when it comes to the color of my rosé. I tend to lean towards those that are lighter blush and steer clear of those with a darker hue. I threw caution to the wind and gave this rosé a whirl. As I sipped on my first glass, I made a few notes I thought I'd share with you:
Dark Pink/ Watermelon Tint
Light effervescence
Aromas of strawberries and raspberries
Mild acidity
Best served chilled
