Carayon La Rosé 2017

Carayon La Rosé

Vintage: 2017

Region: South of France (Languedoc)

Alcohol Percentage: 12.5%

Price: $5.99

Tasting Notes:

Rosé all day is one of my mottos. After the epic fail with the Cherry Blossom Rosé (last seen here) I had to redeem myself, especially since National Rosé Day is right around the corner (Saturday, June 9th).

Here are a few of characteristics I picked up on:

  • Notes of strawberry and some black pepper

  • Crisp and refreshing finish

  • Medium acidity- my mouth was certainly left with a bit of a pucker

  • Dry, not the typical sweet Rosé that you often encounter

  • No corkscrew needed

Verdict: Grab a bottle, grab your girls and head to the nearest patio or poolside. Temperatures are rising and this is a solid summer selection!

Until Next Time!
