Happy New Year!
I saw a meme on Instagram that said, “ December is the one month where you can go drinking every day, and no one calls you an alcoholic. That’s the real Magic of Christmas.” Instantly, I cackled. I’m not sure about you all, but every single one of my friends wanted to get together for dinner and drinks. Yes, we were celebrating the spirit of the holidays, but also surviving 2025- what a year. After the holidays and a two-week hiatus from work, I was confused, full of cheese and wine, and unsure what day of the week it was. But, there’s no other way I’d rather be.
A new year has a funny way of making us all feel like we need a reset. Whether that means tackling Dry January or simply pretending that holiday cheese board and cocktails never happened. Some people are detoxing, and some are “retoxing,” and most of us are trying to find a sensible middle ground. And what better way to ease into the calendar’s fresh start than by discovering a new bottle of bubbles, one that is delicious and maybe even virtuous enough to justify breaking whatever cleanse you promised yourself on January 1st.
So without further ado, let’s jump into the tasting details, shall we?
Tasting Notes:
Mild effervescence
Notes of citrus/ grapefruit and tart Granny Smith apple
Slight hints of brioche
Verdict:
Bubbles often get reserved for big moments, holidays, weddings, or anything that feels worthy of a dramatic cork pop. While many people think that Sparkling Wine/Champagne is only for special occasions, its bright, joyful character makes it just as fitting for celebrating life’s everyday wins, reminding us that the small moments are often the ones most worth toasting. For $14.99, I found this bottle to punch way above its price point. It’s a lovely option, and I would have it again and again. If you grab a bottle, drop your thoughts in the comment box below!
Until Next Time!
