Thailand | What It's Like To Eat At Gaggan Anand, One Of The World's 50 Best Restaurants

If you were to ask me what was on my 2024 vision board, you’d see images of London, Portugal, more images of London ( yes, I am obsessed), vineyards, and Mexico City, but definitely not Thailand.

Singapore | Odette- A Meal To Remember

Do you keep a list of places you want to travel to or restaurants that you want to visit? They are not necessarily “bucket-list” items per se, although some might consider them as such. Over the years, as I’ve read various food and travel articles, I’ll pull out my notes and capture those locations that I’ve found intriguing. Is it me, or has everyone been bitten by the proverbial travel bug? My Instagram feed is filled with people eating croissants in France, consuming bowl after bowl of pasta in Italy, and sipping on fine Scottish whiskies. It makes me wonder, were people on vacation this much before Instagram and TikTok?

Why I paid $900 to dine at Saison

Acquiring Michelin stars has been a hobby of mine for quite some time, albeit a costly one for both my wallet and my waistline. Exploring NoLIta: Brunch at Estela

Knowing that I had limited time in the city, I schemed and plotted to ensure that I hit as many of the best restaurants as possible. I find that as I travel more frequently, I am able to tweak my "foodie reconnaissance". After perusing the World's 50 Best List and Michelin Guide, I usually narrow down the heavy hitters.  Can you believe that there are 72 restaurants that received Michelin stars in 2017?

Bringing a little Napa Valley to Chicago: The French Laundry @ Next Restaurant

Even though it's been almost ten years, I remember it like it was yesterday. We were driving to Yountville, sipping champagne and exchanging stories about dishes we'd heard about and speculating on what the experience would be like.  It was almost as if we were kids in school gossiping about what took place on the playground. Quite possibly the shortest 45-minute drive I've ever taken.
