After weeks of sharing stories from Mexico City — its vibrant culture, incredibly kind people, creative cocktails, and unforgettable meals — I couldn’t wait to dive into my next chapter of travel: Paris. There’s something about returning to the City of Light that always feels like something out of a fairytale. The trip was filled with moments that I can wait to share, unforgettable meals, a fantastic champagne bar, fabulous shopping, and I even managed to squeeze in a day trip to Montmartre.
As a self-proclaimed Type A traveler, I’m the one with an icon-coded Google map, a meticulously organized itinerary, and at least three backup restaurants for every meal. So, spending an agenda-free afternoon in Paris felt like I was rebelling against my natural wiring. It was equal parts liberating and mildly terrifying—with a definite emphasis on terrifying.

Each trip to wine country presents its own unique, first world challenges. With over 400 wineries in Napa and Sonoma, it can be difficult to decide which new wineries to visit while making time to visit trusted favorites that have yet to disappoint.
