There's something about Amsterdam that just begs for a slow afternoon/evening and a good glass of wine. Between the flickering candlelight, crooked canal houses, and tucked away corners, the city is full of cozy wine bars that make you want to put your phone on "Do Not Disturb" and linger for hours
Mexico City is a destination that could easily fill weeks of exploring. Take it from me, it's my second time visiting, and my list of places to visit is now longer than when I initially departed for my trip.
Chicago’s coffee and pastry scene is on a roll, literally. From buttery croissants to flaky buns stuffed with all sorts of delicious surprises, this is one city that knows how to do breakfast ( and snack time) properly. Sure, you can still find your classic drip and a plain scone, if that’s your thing, but why settle for basic when you can have a longanisha stuffed croissant or a latte that is the epitome of balanced and silky smooth.
Even though it's been almost ten years, I remember it like it was yesterday. We were driving to Yountville, sipping champagne and exchanging stories about dishes we'd heard about and speculating on what the experience would be like. It was almost as if we were kids in school gossiping about what took place on the playground. Quite possibly the shortest 45-minute drive I've ever taken.
